triangles contiues

The concrete forms are moved to the floor and ready to be stripped.
The form is positioned in such a way as to keep the suspended triangles supported during the curing process. After 5 days the art piece is still 23 days away from full strength.
This is the front view of the newly stripped piece,

Next the finishing process begins.

Bowls

These concrete art bowls are strong and weighty. They are great for displaying plants, beach stones,or just by themselves.

circles

Circles was completed as a sculpture a few months ago. This piece is just waiting for warmer temperatures to be sealed and be mounted on a permanent base which is still in design mode.
Circles was a sculpture with multi-pours .
This piece was ground to various depths to expose different aggregate in certain areas . I think that the final result shows both the strength of  the design mixed with it's devervsatility.

Triangles

This is my latest concrete sculpture just poured three days ago. Forms and brace supports are still in place. The piece will be kept wet for two more days to complete the most important of the curing stages. The estimated  weight at this stage is about 200 lbs.

The concrete structure is made up of a configuration of various sized rebar for it's armature ,then cast over with a fiber reinforced custom concrete mix.
Once the forms are stripped , the finishing will begin.
This pour was done in my wood shop to assure a good curing environment.
In 28 days the curing will be complete and then sealing can take place.
